Writing on the Wall 09 – Volunteers needed

The WoW (Writing on the Wall) festival is fast approaching starting on Saturday the 2nd May and finishing on Saturday 30th May. With a staff team of 2 and a small but dedicated group of Trustees, the WoW festival is dependant upon the goodwill of those that volunteer to ensure that events are adequately staffed and smooth running.

As a volunteer, WoW would pay for your travel to and from venues, and refreshments would be provided.

General volunteer duties include: giving out and collecting in evaluation sheets, selling books, taking money on the door, and similar.

If this sounds good to you, please email or telephone the WoW office on 0151 703 0020 as soon as possible, as we will be having a volunteers’ organizational meeting on Thursday 23rd April at 5:30pm at Toxteth TV. If you are interested, but are not able to make this planned meeting, please do still get in touch.

WoW aims to have a diverse staff and volunteer group.  The majority of venues that we will use are fully accessible.  For further venue information, and full programme details, please visit our website: www.writingonthewall.org.uk
