Hear readings from the best UK poets and developing writers at our regular poetry night which takes place on the fourth Thursday of the month. Please book your free ticket in advance.
To celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday, this month’s Liverpool Poetry Cafe will hold an open mic sonnet evening. You can read up to two sonnets of your choice, which may be sonnets you have written, or published works by Shakespeare or anyone else for that matter.
If you wish to read, please notify Alex Scott-Samuel at alexss@liv.ac.uk – and if possible let Alex know whether you’ll be reading one or two sonnets.
