The Mersey Sound Poetry Workshop
Thursday 21st May 2009, 10.30am – 12.30pm
The Mersey Poets paved the way for a future flourishing of performance and pop-based work by poets. This workshop will introduce you to the work of the poets and how their poetry differed from poetry written for books. Using writing methods employed by the poets, you will be encouraged to develop your performance poetry writing skills in a welcoming environment. Adults of all abilities and experience welcome.
